Angel Nieves is a former NYPD Detective Investigator with over 30 years experience in the public and private sector. Angel investigated more than 1,000 cases while serving as a detective in the  NYC area. Cases resulted in felony and misdemeanor arrests and prosecutions for murder, robbery, fraud, identity theft, computer crime and sex crimes among others. Prepared all case information for presentation to the District Attorney’s Office. Collaborated with other law enforcement, federal, state, and city agencies. •

Participated in The 911 World Trade Center Recovery; Assigned to critical and high-profile     details- security work for major events in New York City.   •    Conducted and initiated grand larceny investigations involving credit card fraud and identity theft. •    Developed and analyzed intelligence related to grand larceny and recovery of surveillance footage. •    Examined crime scenes, recovered and developed evidence important in the prosecution of cases. •    Provided specialized protective security for various dignitaries, domestic and foreign. •    Collaborated with the fraud departments of major credit issuing agencies, banks, business owners, managers and loss prevention/security personnel. Detective Investigator, Organized Crime Control Bureau-Narcotics Division Conducted 100’s of narcotic investigations as an undercover investigator and responded to complaints received and initiated. Prepared and testified for trials and hearings. Applied for and executed search warrants. •    Engaged in surveillance of people and places including undercover, video and photo. •    Cultivated relationships with confidential informants to further criminal investigations. •    Organized and executed tactical security decisions for execution of warrants and apprehensions.
